If you are thinking of putting your house up for sale, take a look around your neighbourhood. How many other properties are currently for sale? The old adage “sell when no one else is selling” certainly holds true for the first quarter of 2011. The fact that there is little product on the market currently helps sellers meet and often exceed their sales price expectations. It is common to see multiple offers on the same property driving up the sales price. Recently, one of my properties sold for $154,100.00 above the asking price clearly demonstrating that we are in a seller’s market. With housing prices increasing now is the time to sell!
